Miscellaneous Agenda Items
Approved entering into a one-year contract to renew the ESC of Central Ohio’s sponsorship of the Star Academy of Ohio (community school).
Approved entering into a lease agreement with Pitney Bowes for a Digital Mailing System for four years.
Approve a proposal to authorize Hina Environmental Solutions, LLC, to remove the asbestos from the two houses owned by the ESC of Central Ohio located at 2025 and 2037 Stelzer Road and provide a final environmental report.
Approve entering into the 2011-12 Ohio Department of Education Performance Agreement for Ohio’s State Support Teams with the fiscal agent (ESC of Central Ohio) of the SST Region 11 to provide the delivery of high quality assistance with Special Education compliance services and the State Personnel Development Grant.
Approved a Council of Governments amended agreement for the establishment of the Central Ohio Regional Shared Services Council of Governments, formerly known as the Educational Service Center Council of Governments, to perform any function or render any service, including providing personnel, to the ESC of Central Ohio, the CORSS-COG, the member school districts of the CORSS-COG and other educational entities and political subdivisions in the region.
Approve entering into an agreement to provide mental health services to the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board for 2012 fiscal year.
Approved entering into a sub-grant agreement with the Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents to assist the OBOR Chancellor with the work of the U.S. Department of Education’s College Access Challenge Grant.
Approved entering into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Education to providing funding to the ESC of Central Ohio, as a partner in Ohio’s Race to the Top (RttT) grant, to provide RttT Regional Specialist support and training for Local Educational Agencies related to statewide RttT initiatives, effective upon execution through Aug. 24, 2014.
Approved entering into a contract to approve the ESC of Central Ohio’s sponsorship of the Academic Acceleration Academy (community school) for a two-year contract commencing July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013.
Approve entering into a Field and Clinical Experience Agreement with Ohio Dominican University to provide field and clinical experiences to ODU Division of Education students for a two-year period.
Approved the extension of the contract with the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services for the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI).
Approved entering into a Vendor Service Agreement for the benefit of the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) with Markey’s Rental and Staging to provide equipment and services for the 2011 OCALI Conference and Exposition.
Approved entering into an Exchange of Services Agreement with The Ohio State University/Marion Campus to field placements for OSU/Marion Campus students in the ESC of Central Ohio pre-school program during the 2011-12 academic year.
Approved entering into a Master Services Agreement with InnovatED, Inc. to provide technology supported learning solutions to the ESC of Central Ohio, effective Aug. 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012.
Approved entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with Franklin County Children Services to amend the Ed PASS program agreement, originally effective on August 1, 2008, to extend the contract term from Aug. 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012.
Approve entering into an amendment to the Vendor Service Agreement on behalf of Franklin County Family and Children First Council with Robin Hegedus to provide consulting services to extend the agreement from an ending date of June 30, 2011 to Aug. 31, 2011.
Approved entering into an agreement on behalf of the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence with the eTech Ohio Commission to provide OCALI with “Ohio on iTunes U” to make educational materials available to the general public at no cost effective through June 30, 2013.
Approved entering into a contract with Moody Nolan, Inc. to design the parking lot expansion and storage facility at 2080 Citygate Drive.
