23rd Annual Celebration Banquet of the ESC of Central Ohio

As we reach the end of the 2011-2012 school year, I thank each of you again for all that you do. My visits to our classrooms are far more infrequent than I'd like but are always the highlight of my year.

We were recently able to come together as a group to celebrate this year at the Governing Board's annual Staff Celebration Banquet. It was a lovely evening and I always encourage staff to attend as it is presented each May.

I'd specifically like to recognize again a group of educators retiring this year and their lengthy contributions to our agency and communities:

Mary Lou Wright (13 years)

As our ESC grows again next year to welcome Licking Heights Local Schools and Chillicothe City Schools, we are poised for another great year. It's always hard work, but it's always worth it as we continue to improve education in our region.
